How is Hallelujah Hill Learning House different from other programs?

HHLH is a place to build community and relationships in a close-knit learning environment that allows freedom to grow at an individualized pace. We are a two-day a week homeschool enrichment program. Learners explore their own interests while also being guided in hands-on project-based learning and Bible truths.

How does a Montessori classroom operate? Children move about freely in a mixed age classroom. The environment is child-centered and community oriented allowing for their important work to be done independently or in a group setting.

What is a microschool? A very small school, also known as a modern one-room schoolhouse.

What is your Teaching Guide to Child ratio? We will have no more than 15 Children to 1 Teaching Guide.   

What days do you meet?  We meet Mondays and Wednesdays September thru May while observing traditional holidays and breaks.

Where are you located? We meet at the First Baptist Church of Lake Dallas.

Do you take field trips? Yes. Family field trips are planned throughout the year.

What ages are you accepting? We are accepting enrollments for ages 4 -10 years for the 2025/26 school year.

Do you welcome children with special needs? This depends on the needs of the individual child. We are inclusive to all learning types. However, we are not equipped to meet all possible needs.
